Timer does not keep time

Seemed to be the best option for a simple timer, that did not have all the extra bells and whistles complications with the other more organizer/calendar based timers.

However, I have noticed that if the timer is started, then placed in the background while working in other programs, the timer will fall way behind. On the order of 10’s of minutes. Completely defeats the purpose of setting a timer for working on a specific item for a set amount of time.

Any way for a refund or a fix?
